The course content has been designed to allow learners to study Physical Education in an academic setting, enabling them to critically analyse and evaluate their physical performance and apply their experience of practical activity in developing their knowledge and understanding of the subject. To meet the requirements of the exam board, students are required to regularly compete in a competitive sport of their choice. The practical side of the course is assessed by student's own video recordings of their performance in competitive competition.
Grade 6 or higher in GCSE PE plus 5-5 in GCSE combined science or separate sciences.
