The philosophy course asks these questions: What can we know? Can the existence of God be proved? How do we make moral decisions? Are my mind and body separate? These are fundamental questions and the material covered in the course not only provides students with a good understanding of how these debates have, so far, been framed, but also prompts students to consider and discuss their own ideas too. Students will have the opportunity to engage in detailed analysis of philosophical texts, which will be used as a springboard for further reading and reflection.
Grade 7 in English Language or English Literature, & Religious Studies
