Course summary

Criminology is a gripping film-noir of a subject, a procedural police thriller of new knowledge and adventure. We will do our best to ensure it lives up to your CSI expectations. One thing is certain: this A-level will open your eyes to a range of thrilling job opportunities within the criminal justice sector, social and probation work, as well as sociology and psychology. The WJEC Level 3 Certificate in Criminology is an Applied General Qualification. The main purpose of the qualification is to support access to higher education degree courses, such as: Criminology, Psychology, Sociology and Law. While not an A-Level, universities widely accept and value students with a Level 3 Applied Diploma in Criminology.
