The Dance Department at Burntwood Sixth Form is very proud to have great facilities and specialist Dance trained staff. Lessons take part in two newly fitted Dance Studios with sprung floors, air-conditioning, a balcony, mirrors, speaker system, portable interactive board and ballet-barres. The light and airy studios provide students with a large space for lessons, rehearsals and examinations to take place. The department provides an enriched extra-curricular programme including workshops by visiting companies, trips to the theatre and the opportunity to participate in the Dance Show and Whole School Musical. Past students who have studied Dance at BurntwoodSixth Form have gone on to study Dance successfully at University.
