• Component 1: Changing Landscapes and Changing Places (20.5%) – Study of glaciated landscapes and dynamic characteristics of places. • Component 2: Global Systems and Global Governance (27.5%) – Focuses on water and carbon cycling, global migration, and ocean governance. • Component 3: Contemporary Themes (32%) – Includes Tectonic Hazards, Weather and Climate, and Development in Africa. • Component 4: NEA (Non-Examined Assessment) (20%) – An independent investigation using field and secondary data.
