This course is designed to develop your understanding of the requirements of the business sector. The course is made up of three compulsory units; The business environment; Working in business and Customers and communication. There are an additional two units which will look into further aspects of business planning and decision making.
Grade 4 in English Language and Maths. Students also need to meet the general level 3 vocational programme entry requirements.
Units will either be assessed by external exams which include • multiple choice questions • short answer questions to which responses should be based on businesses that you have researched. The research brief will be pre-issued. • short answer and extended answer questions based on a given business scenario. Some of the questions will require the skills of analysis and evaluation. Other units will be assessed internally through coursework
