
The Level 3 Cambridge Technical in Digital Media provides students with a practical and academic introduction to the knowledge and understanding relevant to the industry. Students will develop their skills by focusing on the production of digital for media products. Students will develop media products to a client brief and create pre-production materials shoot footage and edit materials to create a professional media product. Successful students of Digital Media should be collaborative, effective researchers and communicators, as well as high levels of creative. Course Content Unit 1 - Media products and audiences (examination) , Unit 2 - Pre-production and planning (examination), Unit 3 – Create a media product (creative coursework), Unit 20 - Advertising (creative coursework), Unit 21 – Plan and deliver a pitch for a media product (coursework) and Unit 24 – Cross Media Industry Awareness (research based coursework)
Minimum grade 4 in GCSE Maths and minimum grade 4 in GCSE English.
