Course summary

The course is concerned with the following main areas of textile design:- printed textiles; creating a silk screen-printed fabric length stitched textiles, which includes machine embroidery, fashion design, digitally manipulating designs using Photoshop. You will also be developing a range of skills using the design process, including observational drawing, research methods, design skills and fashion illustration.
