At least a grade 6 or grade B in GCSE maths.
Examinations: At the end of Year 12 students will sit the AS examination which will consist of all topics with (*). There will be two papers: Paper 1 includes Core maths and Mechanics topics and Paper 2 includes all Core maths and Statistics topics. At the end of Year 13 students will sit the A-level examination which will consist of all the topics covered in the list including retesting knowledge from Year 12. There will be three papers: Paper 1 will test Core mathematics, Paper 2 will test Core maths with Mechanics and Paper 3 will test Core maths and Statistics.
