Students will develop an in depth understanding of business concepts, which include: legal considerations, business culture, people management and finance. Alongside the exploration of core themes, students will develop critical employability skills which are highly sought after by employers such as teamworking, leadership, organisation and time management. Students will also complete a 45-day industry placement where they will meet and work alongside workplace professionals.
Five 9 – 4 grades, including two Grade 5s Grade 4 in English Language Grade 4 in Mathematics
Assessment is through a mixture of external assessments and the successful completion of an industry placement. Students are supported to develop their ability to apply subject knowledge to case study scenarios and to build the confidence required to thrive in their industry placements.
