If you choose Further Mathematics as another AS Level subject alongside A Level Mathematics, you will be given the opportunity to experience a greater number of pure topics and a range of different applications of mathematics.
Students with IGCSE equivalents in Mathematics will need to meet the grade 8 criteria.
In the first year, progress is tracked using assignments, progress tests, and a mock exam in the summer. In the second year, there are two one-hour 40-minute papers for A Level Further Mathematics.
