Course summary

A-Level Sociology is a fascinating way to understand the world around you and your place within it! As a student of Sociology, you will begin to develop a critical approach and will always ask questions based on the evidence presented to you. Sociology also allows you the opportunity to explore significant social theories such as Marxism, Feminism, Functionalism and Post-modernism and will use these ideas to debate the reality of the social world.
