Course summary

This qualification provides the knowledge, understanding and skills that underpin the study of the applied science sector, and gives learners the opportunity to focus on different aspects of applied science. Learners are given the opportunity to explore, through the optional unit, a particular area of science if they wish, to support progression to applied science courses in higher education, and to link with relevant occupational areas.
