Course summary

Art: You will study art from an academic view, responding to the world around you and taking your ideas into visual outcomes. These visual outcomes will be highly skilled and hold meaning to both the producer and the viewer due to the rigorous development and refinement of the visual journey. You should choose this course if you want to follow a course that integrates practical, critical and theoretical study. If you want to express yourself creatively, through a variety of media and techniques, then this is the course for you. Textiles: You will study a combination of fashion, costume, digitally or traditionally printed and/or dyed fabrics, garments and materials, interior design, constructed textiles, textile instillation and accessories. You will learn many technical skills whilst developing an understanding of areas such as how ideas, feelings and meanings can be conveyed and interpreted in images and artefacts. Graphics: You will study a combination of illustration, typography, editorial, advertising and branding, package design, design for print, computer graphics, multimedia design, storyboarding and layout.
