Unit 1 Exploring non-fiction and spoken texts Unit 2 The language of poetry and plays Unit 3 Reading as a writer, writing as a reader Unit 4 Independent study - Analysing and producing texts English Literature / Language at A Level combines the love of literature (prose, poetry and drama) with a practical study of non-fiction texts, spoken texts such as speeches and documentaries, and a creative writing element. Through your studies you will develop and polish your communication and analytical skills. You will be required to demonstrate understanding and insight and to engage with a wide variety of texts on both a personal and academic level.
