The following units will be studied: Extended Certificate in Sport: · Anatomy and Physiology (Written Exam) · Fitness Training and Programming for Health, Sport and Well Being (Externally Set Task) · Professional Development in The Sports Industry (Internally Assessed) · Practical Sports Performance (Internally Assessed) Students are also eligible to achieve the Certificate in Sport (broadly equivalent to an AS Level) should they decide not to continue with the Extended Certificate in Sport after Year 12.
Grade 4 if studied GCSE PE, Merit if studied a vocational PE qualification.
1 external examination and 1-2 externally assessed tasks.
