A variety of topics are taught such as: rights, equality, safeguarding, mental health, sexual health, anatomy and public health. Student profile Students will be interested in a health-related career. The course will suit students who are interested in a course that is a mixture of coursework and examinations. Students do need to be confident in entering health and social care environments and interacting with service users as this is a vital part of the course. Students need to be prepared to complete a large proportion of written work and to stick to strict deadlines.
