This course is based on a mixed media approach and will build on the creative strengths established at GCSE. Students will learn a variety of techniques and processes allowing them to work towards specialising in Textiles, Fashion, Design or Illustration at University or in the world of employment.
Students wishing to pursue an A Level programme must, in all but exceptional circumstances, have achieved 6 standard GCSE passes (grade 4-9), with a strong pass (grade 5 or higher) in at least 4. Students should also attain the subject-specific minimum grades in subjects relevant to those to be studied Grade 5 in Art-based subject. Grade 4 in English Language.
