
A Level Drama and Theatre qualifications are designed to encourage creativity and develop skills that will support progression to further study of drama and a wide range of other subjects. There is a focus on practical exploration and performance as well as on developing students’ analytical, critical and evaluative skills through written work.
Five GCSEs at grade 5 or above, including both English Language and Mathematics. The minimum subject grade which must be achieved at GCSE in order to continue to study that subject at A Level will be a grade 6. For some subjects, these minimum expectations are higher.
