Politics A Level aims to develop knowledge and an informed understanding of contemporary political structures and issues in their historical context, both within the UK and globally.
Five GCSEs at grade 5 or above, including both English Language and Mathematics. The minimum subject grade which must be achieved at GCSE in order to continue to study that subject at A Level will be a grade 5 or 6. For some subjects, these minimum expectations are higher.
