This course allows students to engage in a broad investigation of the children's care and education sector (0-8 years). There are four mandatory units: Children's development; Keeping children safe; Play and learning and Research and Reflective Practice in an Early Childhood setting.
Grade 4 in mathematics. Plus grade 4 in biology OR at least one grade 4 in combined science.
Two units are externally examined and two units are internally assessed.
