Areas of study include portraiture, landscape photography, still life, documentary, and experimental imagery. Students develop critical understanding by engaging with past and contemporary practices.
Component 1: Personal Investigation (60%) Practical project supported by written material (1,000–3,000 words). Component 2: Externally Set Assignment (40%) Preparatory work followed by 15 hours of supervised time to complete a final piece.
