Course summary

In this subject you will have the opportunity to develop your interest in a rigorous study of philosophy, ethics, religion and belief and relate it to the wider world. You will develop an understanding and appreciation of religious thought and its contribution to individuals, communities and societies. You will adopt an enquiring, critical and reflective approach to the study of religion, reflect on and develop their own values, opinions and attitudes in the light of their study. You will develop your knowledge and understanding appropriate to a specialist study of religion. A level Religious Studies is designed to enable you to develop your interest in, and enthusiasm for, a study of religion and its place in the wider world.

Entry requirements

GCSE RE Grade 5 (other Humanities subjects will be considered if RE has not been studied), GCSE English Grade 5
