This qualification is useful for learners looking to potentially start a career in the IT sector WHAT’S COVERED? As an IT Support Technician you will develop the knowledge and skills required to install and configure computer systems, diagnose hardware and software faults, and solve technical and applications problems, either over the phone or in person, and/or monitor and maintain the computer systems and networks of an organisation. FUTURE OPPORTUNITIES IT is a level 2 course that can help you achieve the entry requirements for Level 3 courses such as A-Levels and BTEC Extended Certificate Qualifications. The course can also allow progression to employment and apprenticeships in the IT sector
