In a world where knowledge of IT becoming increasingly important this course will give you the skills require d to pursue IT as a career or in further education. WHAT’S COVERED? Content covered includes studying the role of computer systems and the implications of their use and creating systems to manage information. You will also explore the professional use of social media in business and investigate the advantages and disadvantages of using social media in business. Students will also study how data modelling can be used to solve problems FUTURE OPPORTUNITIES Students who have passed IT have gone on to study a wide array of courses at top universities including Computing, Games Technology and Applications Development, Creative Computing and Web Technologies, Data Science, Networking, Cyber Security, Social Engineering and other related courses. During the course you will develop skills that would benefit you in a career as programmer, data analyst and data administrator, network designer and network administrator, web technologist, game developer, cyber security manager among others.
