The purpose of CoPE is to enable you to develop and demonstrate a range of personal, key and employability skills, to broaden your experience and manage your learning in a variety of real life contexts. It aims is to teach you to understand, take responsibility for and learn from rich activities, rather than simply to experience them. WHAT’S COVERED? CoPE is a research based course where you will be supported in choosing a topic of interest to research before completing a written coursework assignment and presentation. FUTURE OPPORTUNITIES CoPE features a two week work placement that will give you the opportunity to work in a sector that you have an interest in—utilising this time effectively can give you the edge over other students in a range of careers and sectors.
ASSESSMENT CoPe is a coursework only subject and you will be required to build a portfolio around a topic ; assessment is based on a written project and presentation
