In Psychology, you will delve into the human mind, learning about people’s behaviours and hidden drives and desires. You will look at a wide variety of different topics such as mental health and conditions such as schizophrenia, biological psychology and whether we are responsible for our own behaviours and the extent to which we can trust eye witnesses and their memory in a court of law.
You will have achieved at least 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including Maths, and have achieved at least a grade 5 in either English Language or English Literature at GCSE.
Assessment is through examination at the end of the two year course although you will be assessed by your teachers to help you develop your skills and give you feedback to better prepare you for exams
