
Assessment of the course is both via external examination and coursework style assignments. During the assignments, you will develop research skills and be able to analyse useful scientific sources. The course also has a considerable proportion of microbiology practical techniques where you will learn laboratory skills and conduct research to plan for an independent investigation. The development of these skills are transferable to both higher education and science-based careers.
