Year 12 We follow the AQA specification. The topics studied in Year 12 include: • Aspects of society - The changing nature of family. The 'cybersociety'. Voluntary work • Artistic culture - Culture and traditions. Contemporary francophone music. Cinema • Grammar Literary texts and films - Either one text or one film from a set list Year 13 Year 13 builds on the topics studied in Year 12: • Aspects of society – cultural issues Positive features of a diverse society. Life for the marginalised. How criminals are treated • Aspects of political life Teenagers, the right to vote and political commitment. Demonstrations, strikes. Politics and immigration • Grammar Literary texts and films - Either one text and one film or two texts from a set list Individual research project Why Study?
