The course provides an overview of the economy and the important institutions within it.Details of the courseThe course covers topics such as Unemployment, Inflation, Economic Growth, The Minimum Wage, International Trade, Globalisation and Monopoly Power. It also analyses the economic decisions faced by businesses and individuals.Course Content: Both AS (year 12) and A2 (year 13) count for 50% of the total A-level
5 GCSEs at A-C including Maths and English Language.Students should have achieved at least a B grade level in Maths and English Language. Students do not need any previous experience of Economics.
