Course summary

Psychology is the Science of Behaviour and Experience. Psychologists observe behaviour, formulate a theory and then carry out experiments to test the validity of that theory. This will be a new subject for all students which will provide a highly fascinating and detailed study of this complex subject. This is consistently the most successful A level course we provide and there are very high expectations placed on the students for their commitment and focus. A-level Psychology is of use in many areas of employment. It is a requirement for anyone wishing to become an Educational Psychologist or Criminal Psychologist. Students from MOCS have also used this A level to gain places on courses such as marketing, journalism, sports coaching, social work, teaching, public relations and nursing.
