This will be a new subject for all students which will provide a highly fascinating and detailed study of this complex subject. This is consistently the most successful A level course we provide and there are very high expectations placed on the students for their commitment and focus. A-level Psychology is of use in many areas of employment. It is a requirement for anyone wishing to become an Educational Psychologist or Criminal Psychologist. Students from MOCS have also used this A level to gain places on courses such as marketing, journalism, sports coaching, social work, teaching, public relations and nursing.
At least five and usually more, Grade 5 and above passes, in any subjects at GCSE. This would also mean that an average point score of 5 (from the top 8 GCSE passes). The student must also have a Grade 7 in English Language or English Literature, in Mathematics and in Biology at GCSE.
100% examination in Year 13. Year 12 students will complete an internal exam to pass into the second year.
