This qualification is equivalent in size to one A Level and aims to provide a coherent course of study covering both performance and the music industry. This course is for practical musicians who are keen to perform. It provides an excellent opportunity for students to further their musical studies and experiences in a variety of ways with the support and guidance of a very experienced team of teachers. This BTEC Level 3 in Music can lead to further study in music or performing arts in Higher Education at degree or HND level and may lead on to a career in the music industry. Our students have gone onto to study subjects such as song writing, music production and music studies
Grade 5 or above at GCSE / Level 2 BTEC Music Merit or above Grade V in instrumental / vocal studies if GCSE/BTEC Music not studied
