A Level Mathematics is a two year course which will give you the opportunity to study Pure Mathematics, Mechanics and Statistics. Students who enjoy and successfully complete this subject typically progress onto a wide range of degree courses at university and now, more increasingly, higher level apprenticeships

Entry requirements

Minimum grade 6 in GCSE Maths, though grade 7 or above is preferred.

How you'll be assessed

The Pearson Edexcel Level 3 Advanced GCE in Mathematics consists of three externally-examined papers. Each paper is a 2 hour written examination, out of 100 marks and worth 33% of the qualification.
