
BTECs are vocationally-related qualifications, where learners develop knowledge and understanding by applying their learning and skills in a work-related context. This course is designed to be effective by engaging students to take responsibility in essential skills such as; team work, working from a prescribed brief, working to deadlines, presenting information effectively and accurately completing administrative tasks and processes. Students will have the opportunity to gain a deeper insight to hospitality with cooking and preparation for the industry with the added knowledge of enterprise and finances. This course provides the opportunity for students to work with outside companies that are local.
