Graphic Communication is an exciting introduction to visual arts intended for those who are interested in Art & Design which relates to the appreciation of graphic communication in advertising, illustration and in the promotion of ideas, information and new images. Delivered as a cutting edge programme, we enthuse students to work as creative designers and illustrators and to take inspiration from real life briefs and professional practices. Graphic Communication is a creative subject that allows and encourages ideas to be formed using traditional drawing, mixed media and computer skills. The emphasis is to allow individuals to experiment and develop a range of skills that they are able to build on, developing an understanding of how designers use colour, image and typography to communicate an idea.
