Art is a highly creative and expressive course which will enable students to experience practical opportunities to respond and create art and design through vocational project briefs. Core skills are covered through a range of disciplines including drawing, painting, printmaking, digital manipulation and three dimensional studies in response to given themes whilst making links to contextual sources through artist studies and presentations. NOTE: A-Level Art can be offered in place of the BTEC if a more independent focus and single unit of study is preferred.
