
As a student of Performing Arts you will be able to explore a varied and diverse curriculum in the mediums of Drama and theatre. You will study 3 large units and other optional units to develop your skills in both Drama and theatre. You will develop skills in Acting in group and solo performance. You will be able to develop research skills to analyse Practitioners’ work and develop your own acting skills and techniques for live performance. You will be given the opportunity to work with Industry professionals in preparation for a career in the Arts and you will be able to gain work experience in your chosen area of study. Your knowledge and appreciation of performance, production and repertoire will prepare you for further study and practical exploration in Drama and the Performing arts. You will gain both professional and transferable knowledge skills.
Grade 4 at GCSE English and Drama GCSE / BTEC Level 2 Performing Arts. Previous performing experience is advantageous but not essential.
