Course summary

This is an A Level Course. Studying English Literature offers you the opportunity to study works of literature in greater depth than before, such as novels, plays, and poetry. You will think critically and analytically about the texts you are studying, thinking about the meaning and influence of them. The course covers three areas - telling stories, exploring conflict and making connections. Your writing, speaking and listening skills will develop as you produce a range of formal and academic responses. For further information or to ask questions, please contact Ms Shingi Munda (KS5 Leader of English and Media Studies) smunda@holytrinitycrawley.org.uk
