Course summary

This course is an A Level Course. You will be introduced to a variety of photographic media, techniques and processes. You will study traditional black and white darkroom printing, as well as digital photography, and learn practical skills and techniques. You will learn to research photographers’ work in depth, and link these ideas with your own work. You will be encouraged to explore ideas and push the boundaries of the medium, and develop your own individual creative concepts and approaches to photography. Entry requirements

MINIMUM SUBJECT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS (in addition to the general 6TH form minimum entry requirements of 5 x grade 4 at GCSE/equivalent or above including Maths and English): Portfolio of evidence and Grade 4 in Art is an advantage.
