
This course is an A Level Course. In this course you can expect to study physical and human units which include water, hazards, urban areas and global trade. This involves finding out how they are created and changed by nature, and exploited and managed by people. This will lead into fieldwork where you will carry out practical activities in preparation for coursework. In Year 13, you will study the world at risk, which looks at the causes and impact of hazards and climate change. You will also study the meaning of place and global politics that change and develop over time. MINIMUM SUBJECT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS (in addition to the general 6TH form minimum entry requirements of 5 x grade 4 at GCSE/equivalent or above including maths and English): GCSE grade 4 in Geography, plus Grade 4 in English plus a Grade 5 in Maths or any Science subject
