This course provides opportunities for students to undertake projects that include fashion design, printed and/or dyed fabrics, constructed Textile Design, installed Textile Design. Students will have a sketch-book and textile product/garment for each project. All students will have access to a wide range of resources and equipment with the support of an experienced team of teachers and technicians to support.
Grade 5 or above at GCSE Product Design, Textiles or Art Grade 4 or above for Maths and English.
The Personal Investigation consists of a major, in-depth, practical, critical and theoretical investigative project/theme-based portfolio and outcome/s with integrated extended written critical and contextual analysis. 15 hour control assessed Project based with external moderation 100%
