Course summary
Religious Studies is an exciting subject that covers a broad range of topics while developing essential critical thinking skills. Studying Philosophy and Ethics at A Level will develop an understanding and appreciation of religious thought and its contribution to individuals, communities and societies and cause you to reflect on and develop your own values, opinions and attitudes. You will also strengthen the skills of enquiry as well as taking a critical and reflective approach to the study of religion. This A Level course is a rigorous study of religion and belief and how this relates to the wider world. People with an A Level in Religious Studies develop excellent communication and interpersonal skills which are essential for every-day life as well as most careers.
