Plus, there are five smaller, optional assignment units. This qualification has been designed to be a two year full-time study programme. It is an in-depth study of the health and social care sector, and supports progression to: Higher education and apprenticeship or employment. This qualification has a mandatory requirement to complete a work placement of 100 hours. Progress onto university or further training and your career prospects will include nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and teaching to name a few.
