The Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) is an optional qualification that involves researching a unique topic of interest. Students may choose the topic they want to research and present their findings in their final project. Students often discover a passion during this course that they follow after Sixth Form. Their topics must not be something they are currently learning about in their curriculum and does not have to be related to any of their A-Level subjects. You will have support via your Academic Studies sessions where you'll learn the skills required to compete the EPQ such as academic writing and researching. The EPQ is equivalent to half an A-Level and is recognised widely by Universities.

The EPQ is assessed using four objectives. AO1 Management of the project AO2 Use of Resources AO3 Develop and Realise AO4 Review
