6 GCSEs at grade 4 and above including English and Maths and including a grade 5 or better in PE. In special circumstances, candidates will be considered on merit if they have not achieved the minimum requirements. Students of National Standard in Volleyball will also be favourably considered onto the course in conjunction with their DISE studies.
For each unit, there will be a series of assignments that are graded pass, merit or distinction. This a two year course with 1080 guided learning hours ie. 12 hours per week plus work experience within the department. This course is equivalent to three A Levels.
