What will be studied? The course is divided into four key areas of study they are: Aspects of Hispanic society Artistic culture in the Hispanic world Multiculturalism in Hispanic society Aspects of political life in Hispanic society You will also study a film in Year 12 and a film and book in Year 13 You will also have the opportunity to do work experience in Spain or France.
5 x grade 4 or above including English Language and Maths. GCSE grade 5 in your chosen language. If you don't have a GCSE in your chosen language, you may still be able to do this A level course if you have previous linguistic knowledge. For example, if you are a (near) native speaker or lived in a French or Spanish speaking country
The A level course is assessed by three exams, all taken in May/June. You will have a combined Listening, Reading and Translating exam, a Speaking and a Writing paper.
