Students from other schools who have received a conditional offer to join our Sixth Form are invited to visit the school on Friday 27th June..

Students are asked to respond by Friday 13th June using the form linked in the invitation that they have been emailed.

Please arrive at the Main Reception from 9.05am for a 9.15am start. The session will finish at 12:30 and include the following:

• Welcome by Ms Ganachaud, Director of Sixth Form
• A-Level subject fair
• Tour of the school
• Teambuilding activity
• Opportunity to talk to current Sixth Form students

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any other family members during this visit. You are not required to bring anything with you. Please follow our Sixth Form dress code on the day which can be found here.

We are offering free workshops for ages 14-17 

Join us for a range of exciting, practical workshops on Saturday, 15th November, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. This is a fantastic opportunity to get hands-on and explore various creative fields, including Screen Acting, Film Making, Lighting and Sound, Makeup and Theatre Crafts.

Take part in engaging taster sessions, meet our talented instructors, and find out how you can turn your passion for the arts into a post-16 option and tangible career.

Dear Year 11 students, parents and carers, 

I hope that preparations for your forthcoming examinations are going well.

As part of your preparation for coming to St Bede’s Catholic College Sixth Form, I am writing to invite you to our Taster Day on the Thursday 26th June 2025.  Please arrive at 9.00am and go to the Lecture Theatre. For students who are joining us from other institutions, please sign in at reception where directions will be provided.  Please bring writing materials as you will be having taster lessons. 

Please also bring a packed lunch with you. 

If you are unable to attend on the day, email sixthform@stbcc.org and we will arrange for the resources and information you will need to be sent to you.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all the best for your examinations and I look forward to seeing you on the Taster Day.

All prospective Sixth Formers are expected to attend both induction days, where there will be a full and varied programme of 'taster' classes in all subjects. 

The second day will conclude with provisional enrolment.
 

A cold buffet lunch will be available on Thursday
 

Students will be free to leave by approximately 1:30pm on the Friday.
 

You are NOT required to wear uniform!
