We are looking forward to welcoming visitors to our sixth form open evening on Wednesday 13th November 2024.

We will be staggering entry times to our open evening. You will be able to reserve a place on either the 5:30 pm, 6:30 pm or 7:30 pm sessions.

The open evening session will last 60 minutes. There will be a 30 minute presentation from the headteacher, director of sixth form and head students. A 30 minute tour of the school led by student stewards will follow, where visitors can visit subjects and talk to staff.

We ask that visitors attend with a maximum of four people in their group (this includes children). There is limited parking in the school car park and therefore a space cannot be guaranteed. We encourage all parents who can walk to the school, or travel without a car, to do so.

Term starts for the Year 12 students with a morning of activities designed to allow students to get to know their year group, catch up with old friends, make new ones and meet their Form Tutor. 

Get ready for enrolment day and beyond!

There will be

1. Assembly explaining the next steps
2. Photographs (for your ID)
3. Fresher's Fayre, with representatives from subjects to answer more questions about your chosen courses

Post 16 event to experience a range of activities and an opportunity to meet other students and P16 staff. 

The day will run from 9:30 am until 1:30 pm with light refreshments being provided during the day.

You must enrol online following receipt of your GCSE results. There is no requirement for you to come into School in person.  

On 22 August 2024 by midnight - ENSURE YOU CLICK ‘SUBMIT ENROLMENT FORM’ at the end of the enrolment process.  (you will receive an email to confirm your enrolment form has been submitted)

We will review your submitted enrolment form and results against your conditional offer to confirm your place at TGS Sixth Form, as per your conditional offer.

You should still enrol by midnight on 22 August to register that you wish to join TGS Sixth Form and email sixthformadmisions@tgs.kent.sch.uk to request an alternative programme, listing ALL 6 subjects you choose AND ARE ELIGIBLE TO STUDY.

YOU MUST HAVE MET THE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR YOUR CHOSEN SUBJECTS.  Please remember if you need to reduce a course from HL to SL you need to choose another HL to replace it (working within the 6 block option structure).
