For this drop-in event, we'll be opening our doors for applicants and their families to come along and view our campus facilities, meet some of our current students and to view some of the work that they have been producing throughout the year. 

Attendees will also have the opportunity to chat with our Senior Leadership Team and admissions staff, who will be on hand to answer any questions that you might have.

Hi all, 

Hope exams are going well, and you are looking forward to your summer. I am emailing as we have finalised a date for our Sixth Form taster day which will be on Tuesday 2nd July. This will be a chance for those holding offers to study with us to trial some of the subjects you have applied for in sixth form and gain more information about Sixth Form ahead of enrolment. The day will run from 8.30-1pm.

I will be sending more information and a sign-up link very soon.

The assessment day forms part of your application process, and gives you the opportunity to demonstrate how you perform as part of a team. 

If you are internal you will be only required from 9:30am to 12:30pm 

If you are external you will be required from 9:30am to 3:00pm

Dear Parents/Carers,

We are very much looking forward to meeting the new year 9 students on the year 9 induction day on Monday 8 July. Below is the outline for the day, students should arrive for a 9am start.

Students should bring writing equipment and a calculator with them on the day as these will be needed for their lessons. As most students will not yet have a CAST uniform, they should wear their usual school shirt and trousers/skirt. If their current uniform has a tie, blazer or logoed jumper these will not be required.

Attached with this letter is an information booklet called ‘Starting at CAST’ via email, which contains lots of key information you will need before starting at CAST in September. We know that there may still be some things parents wish to ask, so we have created a slot at the end of the induction day to provide an opportunity for these questions to be answered.

Our new Year 12 cohort will visit Oxford University. This residential offers an invaluable opportunity to visit colleges, meet current tutors and attend sample lectures. Students will be booked into accommodation at Wadham College.
