A taster day for Sixth Formers to experience life as a Bedford Academy Sixth Form student.

Come and attend our Open Evening to get an idea of what makes Copleston Sixth Form such a special place to study.

This open evening event, is for all prospective students and their families who are interested in Year 12 entry (post 16 education).

It’s an opportunity to view the facilities, speak with staff and meet current students.

You do not need to book, just simply turn up on the evening.

Register in advance or pop-in on the day! 

We are excited to be inviting you to an online taster session on Thursday 19th June 4.30pm - 5.30pm for your chosen first choice pathway: Craft. This event is for students but parents are welcome to join.

This session will be led by your pathway teachers and will:

• Give you an in-depth understanding of what you will learn in your pathway and what lessons will look like. 
• Develop an understanding of how you will be assessed.
• Create confidence that you have made the right pathway choice. 
• Ask any questions you might have. 
• Get you excited about joining LSA! 

Sign up is essential for you to receive the Google Meets link. You will be send the Google Meets link the day before your session. 

Remember that engagement is part of your offer! If you are unable to make this date, please be sure to let us know.

After the sessions have taken place, we will send out the recordings of all four pathways to all applicants. This is a great opportunity to make sure you are making the right pathway decision and be informed of all possible options. 

If you would like to change either your first or second choice pathway you must email us by the 31st July 2025. Once you start at LSA, you cannot change pathways.

We are offering an additional opportunity for students and parent/carers who were unable to attend the open evening to have a tour of the College on Tuesday 15th October between 4.30pm – 6pm. The tour will be given by our Student Leaders and the Senior Leadership Team will be on hand to answer any questions. However, the subject areas/teachers and the other stands (careers/transport/Bursary) will not be available on this evening. Subject details, transport and Bursary information can be found on our website. You do not need to attend this event if you have already attended the open day.
